Ossett - Yorkshire Blonde 3.90 Very pale and very hoppy with good sweetish fruity citrus flavour. My score 15/20.

Busy with early evening diners and office workers.
Moorhouse's - Leaky Roof 4.40 House beer for this better than average Wetherspoon. Golden and well balanced with a sweetish hoppy finish. My score 15/20.

A North West breweries beer festival was on here when I visited.
Peerless - Red Rocks (was 5%) 4.80 Quite fruity dark red strong bitter with a dryish appley finish. My score 15/20. Betwixt - Sunlight 4.30 Well balanced golden ale. Quite sweet. My score 15/20. Northern (see also Blakemere) - Spot On 4.30 Fairly dry and bitter copper coloured brew. My score 14/20.
