Older style Wetherspoon's being a conversion of a former furniture store. Located in Granby Street the name of this Wetherspoon pub refers to Richard III, the last Plantagenet King of England, who stayed in Leicester on the eve of his defeat at nearby Bosworth Field, in 1485. After the battle, his body was brought back to the city and displayed for several days. Has a total of 15 active handpumps in three banks of 5. Sold by Wetherspoon and closed on 8th September 2019.
