Surprisingly I've never been here before. I drive past it quite often on my way back to my parents but I've never actually been in. I think I always used to think this was the Ringlestone Inn (which clearly it's not). Don't know why I thought that. Anyway, it's a nice pub. Kind of L-shaped and nicely done out with a pool table at one end. The garden is large with a big copper beach tree.
JW Lees (see also Lees) - Scorcher | 4.00 | | Pale orange yellow. Very thin head. Smelt of wet slat and clay. Sharp citrus orange bite. Tangy with short lived finish. |

August Bank Holiday Monday and my 4th pub. They were having a BH festival. Unfortunately I missed the beer festival part but they still had several tents in the garden selling fortunes and jewellery. Also tent hosting live music. I was there when a 4 piece Ghanaian band were playing and very good they were too.
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | | Excellent session beer and refreshed me after my cycling. Good yeasty flavour with nice floral hops. Not quite as good as the pint in the Sun Inn |
