A few in at lunchtime. We had a tasty meal with friendly service. It was good to have the meaty meat pie made on the premises. First time we had been in under the new management.

I was passing and there was a cricket match being played on the green opposite so I stopped for a swift half. I stood out the front and watch a lot of chaps sweating in their white.

Busy in the restaurant area for our lunchtime excursion through the special Tuesday menu which proved both very tasty and good value. The service was cheerfully efficient.

Happened to find ourselves in need of sustenance at lunchtime and, having not been here for some time, we thought we would drop in. The meal was most enjoyable and the service friendly and efficient.

Fairly busy in the bar and restaurant for our lunchtime visit. We had the OAP meal which, whilst it had a limited menu, was very good and excellent value. Friendly staff.

Last pub on my jaunt around Kent. Sat outside watching cricket in the sun was wonderful. 4 real ales on but I fancied a pint of Guiness and then wished I'd had something else.

Idyllic setting for a pub in The Lees, in small village opposite the triangular shaped village green that has a cricket pitch and a pavilion. The pub is red brick with ivy and other creepers over some of the front. 4 handpumps on the central bar with tables and seats set around the edge. Garden at rear with separate dining room. Tables outside the front to watch the cricket.

We have visited this pub 20 times, seen 34 different beers and tried 20 of them.
