Early evening:drinkers sitting out front in the warm air.I'd come into town to fetch fish 'n' chips.It had been a long day:beer was called for.Would have been good to see some Kentish beers tonight!

This pub has recently re-opened under new management after a period of closure so I decided to give it a try. Just time for a very quick pint whilst changing buses.

An old beamed building in High Street, backing on to the town's landmark church with its impressive tower. Good food menu and four handpumps serving mainly LocAle.
