Pub is actually in Manchester (south of the Irwell). Fairly quiet on a Friday morning, a few in for breakfast.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Caledonian - Auld Acquaintance4.40AcceptableJust about passable, malty red ale. Sweet and cloying with little hop character. My score 13/20.

Typical Wetherspoons, large and soulless, but it is cheap.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Saltaire - Bavarian Gold4.20GoodA bit strange, lagerish but still a real beer, hoppy and refreshing with a good depth of flavour and a good finish.
Batemans - Middle Wicket4.20AcceptableNice, light and hoppy if a bit uninspiring.
