Mike wanted to come here as its the biggest pub in Manchester. The beer list was so naff that I had a half of Ruddles Best and left most of it. I cheered myself up with a big fried all-day brunch.

14:30 Convenient lunch stop on our way walking from Deansgate tram stop to the newly opened tram stop in Exchange Square. Busy downstairs but quieter up. Three bars but not a very exciting beer choice.

Typical spoons evening, fairly quiet, but it is a huge place. I have only listed the beers I tried.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Peerless - Uncle Sam4.50AcceptableNice enough, not what I would call American Ale, not enough hops but nice enough after a five hour drive. Would like to try it on gravity.
Fallons - Dark Prince4.80Not TriedI like Stouts and I love this, black, roasty toasty, burnt and bitter. Super stuff. Martyn, if you could get this it would be stunning on gravity.
