Evening, very busy when we arrived but soon thinned out. I'm sure the two were not connected.

Evening, good banter with the Landlord on what was a stupidly hot evening! Upcoming beers included Kent Black Gold, Tonbridge Rustic and Old Dairy Sun Top.

Popped in here on a warm sunny evening on our way back from Halstead. Friendly and proper town centre pub.

Evening visit, we enjoyed a couple of pints each whilst breaking our journey on the way home from Knockholt.

Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00Good
Scottish & Newcastle - Wm Younger No. 34.30GoodI have not seen this beer for about thirty years, and I am not sure where it is brewed now. I think it may be a bit lighter in colour than I remember it, but I can not be sure. It is a dark tawny, malty and sweetish beer with a light creamy yellowish head.
