Very quiet Bank Holiday Monday, early lunchtime session.

The pub is found in Grays, Essex, RM17 6HR.

A fine old pub just off the town centre in Kings Walk, and next door to the White Hart. Maintains separate saloon and public bars, the latter with an unusual hexagonal pool table. Occasional beer festivals. Supports local brewers. 1 handpump in public bar and 4 in the saloon.

We have visited this pub 13 times, seen 43 different beers and tried 26 of them.
