Afternoon visit. Outside it said beers £2.20 to £2.30 but inside the beowulf beers, a local brewery had prices of £2.60 to £2.90 and all at 5% or less. Decided not to try one.

In Birmingham Road, the name of this Wetherspoon pub comes from a quote in Shakespeare's play Henry IV, 'fill me a bottle of sack: our soldiers shall march through; we'll to Sutton Co'fil' tonight'. Shakespeare's mother, Mary Arden, was a member of a leading local family.
