Very quiet , early on a Thursday evening – although there seemed to be a good crowd in when I walked past a bit later the same evening. No sign yet of the home-brewed beer.

Moderately busy on a mid Saturday afternoon.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Tiny Rebel - Urban IPA5.50ExcellentNot the sort of beer I would normally go for on a pub crawl but gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised. Citrus hop dominates but with a good malt base giving a smooth and well rounded beer. My score 16/20.
Camden Town - Ink (KeyKeg)4.40GoodMy first tasting of a keykeg beer. This was a stout with good malt character, fairly yeasty but without much hop character. Short dry finish. My score 15/20 and served too cold for my taste. Available in a third pint as are all the draught beers here.

The pub is found in Islington, Central London, N1 8LE.

Recently reopened and refurbished pub retaining a central bar layout and still with the feel of a back street local. Food is gastropub type but not in your face. Real ales are from craft brewers and an on site brewery, Earl's, has now opened. Keg and bottled beers also feature prominently. Expensive.

We have visited this pub 12 times, seen 33 different beers and tried 16 of them.
