Evening. Rather spartan venue but I had heard that the beer was in good condition and that it was. But at £3.95 pp for a 3.7%er that could rail against a future Good Beer Guide entry I should have thought.

Established by 1839, this is now the last of the six pubs which once stood in Bedfordbury. It stands just around the corner from the award winning Harp. Small pub with a curved modern bar counter. Upstairs "secret" lounge. Popular for Thai food. There are 5 handpumps. Has recently shown a rejuvenated interest in its real ale offerings.
