About forty of us turned up and I was at the wrong end of the queue for beer, still it was worth waiting for.

Early afternoon and a good crowd of locals in place. Good to see a wider range of FILO beers on pump. So much more professional now than on my last visit here years ago when the beers were rather homebrewish.

Found myself in Hastings on business and grabbed the opportunity to check out the FILO for the first time. 3 of their own-brewed ales on and locally-cured hot salt beef sandwiches amongst the numerous lunchtime options. Good number of happy punters in. Food/drink well presented (oversized half glasses) and service was swift, if not overly friendly.
