I've been told this pub does a good pint of Master Brew but in the past I've not been able to escape the immense gravitational pull of the Butcher's Arms to try it. Being a Monday the Butcher's was closed so I ventured in. The bar to the left has a pool table in it so I went to the bar on the right which was a low ceilinged snug kind of affair and quite pleasant. There was a live singer in to add to the fun.

Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70AcceptableA weird one. Nothing wrong with it but it wasn't as hoppy or as caramely as Master Brew usually is.
Shepherd Neame - Spitfire (or Spitfire Amber Ale)4.20Not Tried
