Aren't beach holidays fun. Umm. Fortuneatly some gents in the 1880's realised the folly in that statement and built a pub by the beach. Three cheers for them.

My favorite Palmers beer and in really good condition. Lots of fruit and hints of tang and spice

Haven't been here for years. It's a big pub with 2 large rooms either side and a small room in the middle with a pool table. The bar is big, horse shoe shaped and runs round all three areas. It was nearly empty when I was there but it was about 9pm in the middle of the week out of season.

Dark mahogany colour. Heavy oak and Madeira flavours. Bit of burnt sugar too. Not subtle and not really my thing.

Slightly sickly malt beer with alcohol notes. Not really my thing. Strange, as I remember this being great a few years back.
