My first pub visit since 3rd March for this mid evening visit and our group of three received a friendly welcome at the door and directed to one of many free tables that were available. Apart from only one of us allowed at the bar to order drinks it seemed business as normal, but with a limited food menu on offer.

Early evening taking advantage of Cask Club Monday's £2.50 a pint offer. Busier than expected with a few groups dotted about with an even mix of drinkers and diners plus a birthday function in full swing.

Early evening visit for a comfort stop after a bus journey from Faversham, a quick pint and then a local bus for the rest of the journey. One of the staff members was upset that she had been targeted by fraudsters who attempted to confuse her with a note changing scam. Fortunately they failed.

Mid evening clear at the bar yet many tables taken, mostly drinkers tonight. We sat at at free table by the exit to the beer garden. Nice to see a different beer range from my last visit.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Marston's - 61 Deep3.80ExcellentEasy 4*, perfect temperature and superb condition with a light citrus and honey flavour combined with a bitter hint of an aftertaste. £3.25 a pint for the thrifty minded.

Mid evening fairly quiet just in time for last food orders so hot n spicy chicken wings it was. Pleased to see something different in the beer range tonight.

Late afternoon fairly quiet before the offices opposite finish just a few groups dotted about. ChrisE had a £10 voucher so we enjoyed a bowl of delicious jalapeño poppers each with a sweet chilli dip to complement our beers.

Caught the tail end of the early evening crowds before they head off into town, busy at the bar and most tables taken we luckily we found one before ordering our food.Bar staff coped well hence waiting times minimal.

Podge's Belgian Beer Tours had dropped me off nearby so I decided to have a pint in here before catching a bus, quite frankly I wish I had foregone the pint and caught an earlier bus, this pub was busy with groups of what I call loud shouty people. I moved to a quieter part of the pub where people were eating to finish my beer.

Noisy more riotous than expected for a suburban pub on a Friday evening, mostly folk drinking I didn't notice any diners. We found a table by the window and enjoyed a couple of pre curry beers. Despite this the bar staff were on the ball and we were served promptly each time. Impressive beer range here tonight which I wasn't expecting.
