A good Friday night crowd and a decent band on. And a belated well done to Dave & Julie on winning the local Pub of the year award for 2010.
Goacher's - Best Dark Ale (aka Original) 4.10 In tip top condition here. Dark Star - Over The Moon 3.80 One of Dark Stars' best ales. Dark Star - Saison 4.50 A good interpretation of a classic Belgium style beer. And two samples this visit. Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) 3.40 A good seller here. Banks's - Young's London Original (was Bitter) - previously brewed in Bedford and at Wychwood 3.70 A decent steady seller here. I think it tastes much better since Well's took over the brewing.
