22 Sep 2020 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit until, as always!, close. Lots of debate of past local railway accidents and the causes.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Jaipur5.90GoodLosing some condition as cask empties
Pig & Porter - Got The Face On4.50GoodGood condition but knew I would not like it, as I rarely do with P&P, too many golden citrus jobbies from them and often indistinguishable one from the next
Burning Sky - Plateau (was 3.5%)3.40Not Tried
Kent - Black Honey4.70Not Tried
Blackjack - British Pub Ale4.00Not Tried
20 Sep 2020 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit until close. The large Greenwich Time Clock replica having stopped did not help judging last pints but we got by.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Jaipur5.90Excellent
Kent - Black Honey4.70GoodSlight loss of edge from yesterday
Blackjack - British Pub Ale4.00AcceptableQuaintly named ale but wet dog in nose and flavour. I imagine this is how many local breweries' ales in the 50s and 60s used to taste and people were happy for them to pass
Burning Sky - Plateau (was 3.5%)3.40Not Tried
Franklins - Blurred Limes4.50Not Tried
