2130 visit. End of my working week. I was "persuaded" to come out for a swift pint and ended up staying for six? Bang go's my early start for Dovercourt b/f! Aside from that, few people in, then, suddenly, the pub was rammed with a load of Swan regulars out on a Xmas "jolly" to the Cocked Horse, Detling? Great local pub. Kept the Jockmeister busy, and the Xmas Ale is "coming soon"...

2330 and last knockings. The Jockmeister was on and told us the Xmas Ale @ 5% was delivered on Tuesday. Good news, but when it comes on, I don't know! The Christmas Ale bottles are also in stock here @ 7%, which, according to Shep's, are far superior to the cask version, and on sale at £3.45.

The pub is found in Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1UY.
In County Road The Swan is a small, 'corner-of-the-street local'. Despite being Shepherd Neame tied does hold occasional small beer festivals of other brewers' wares. Refurbished in early 2015.
We have visited this pub 275 times, seen 63 different beers and tried 57 of them.
