Tempest - Emanation Pale Ale | 4.50 | | Amber rather than pale with a good hoppy character. Little malt character and a dry, bitter finish. My score 15/20. |
Mallinsons - Robin Hood's Well | 4.50 | | Very pale bitter where the initial sweetness is replaced with a rather sharp piney hop flavour. Dry, sharp finish. My score 14/20. |

Very quiet at opening time on a Saturday lunch, in fact the staff outnumbered me by 3 to 1! After 1pm locals started drifting in.
Nook - Raspberry Blonde | 4.50 | | Pale blonde beer with a good base beer of clean crisp citrus hoppiness overlaid with a raspberry flavour giving a refreshing sweet finish. My score 16/20. |
AllGates - Maori Mild | 3.60 | | A lot of strong flavours in this, strong malt taste and quite hoppy from fruity New Zealand hops. Just a bit too much going on to be called mild. My score 15/20. |
Rebellion - False Dawn | 4.40 | | Traditional amber coloured bitter, quite dry and hoppy with citrus notes and a notably dry finish. My score 15/20. |
Camerons - Arthur Wharton Ale | 4.00 | | Very pale and rather thin in body with not much going on, some sweetness and a little hoppiness in the finish. My score 14/20. |
