00:00 visit. With two of the Three Musketeers in tow we came here for a nightcap. The place looks a mess at this time with many "tanked up" revellers hopping from here to the very long queue of the nearby nightclub.

Asked about the Pendles witches on offer on the same hand pump as last week. Is it available? I asked. No the line is being cleaned was the reply. 5 days to clean a line. What a joke.

Busy. Anoying whem I ordered a pint of Witches brew that the manager tried and told me it had run out. He never turned the clip around and others asked for it later and the staff still pretended that it might be on, then anounced it had just ran out. Unbelievable.

Despite its flaws you would be hard pushed to find any other pubs with 10 ales on of this quality at this price any where else in Kent....Big fan.

18:30. Having left the delights and land of "value for money" (£1.50+ for any 50cl beer/lager, all 5.0%+) that is S.E Poland behind me some 5hr 15m earlier, back to "earth" with a resounding bump? This place was very quiet, right through to 23:00 when I left. The Curry Club deal was the only attraction this visit. Even though I dont imibe these days, I think I'll keep my CAMRA membership active to voice dissent at the ludicrous pub pricing policy of non-alcoholic refreshments? "There's no profit on beer" sounds more plausible than ever. The profit is obviously on everything but beer!! (£3.60 for little more than a pint of Pepsi. I ask you).....CAMRA want my support but I choose not to imbibe, and at these prices, is it no wonder our local pubs lose support?
