Not a particularly inspiring ale range (think Burnside, Williams, Eden) but the day was aved by the keg range.

Surprising number of visitors. Uninspired cask list - maybe tempting us to the house beers (keg).
BeerABVScoreNotes
six°north - Biere de Table (was 2.8%)3.50GoodIncreased from 2.8 to 3.5%. Still good but none the better.
six°north - Hopocrisy4.60GoodFresh and hoppy, slightly sweet, quite floral. (Keg)

Very quiet. Hope the more interesting guests make a reappearance sometime soon.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30GoodBest option again. Suspect 6 handpumps is too optomistic for trade in January.

Busy. Mostly local trade.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30GoodReliable. Best beer of the evening.
Cromarty - Red Rocker5.00GoodNot a fan of red ales. This one's better than most.
Windswept - APA5.00PoorDon't know what's happening with Windswept. Last year Tornado was an easy 'Beer of the Festival'. This year it was muted. Typhoon was undrinkable and, tonight, APA tasted of ...... nothing.
Orkney (Sinclair) - Dark Island4.60Not Tried
Strathaven - Old Mortality4.20Not TriedSurprised this is still around.

Local trade. Landlord outselling everything.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Windswept - Tornado6.70AcceptableNot a patch on the beer enjoyed at the Aberdeen Beer Festival. No hops, not much from the malts.
Windswept - Typhoon6.20UndrinkableThis was awful. Bit muddled on first taste but hugely astringent and antiseptic finish. Not a problem with the serve but who tastes the beer before it's put on?
