My first ever visit to this pub; another much revived by Antic Pub Co. Very spacious and not busy at Sunday lunchtime. Outstandingly good roast beef lunch.

Moor - Natural Beauty4.10ExcellentGolden coloured and hazy – I suspect un-fined. Yeasty, lemony and refreshing.

0030 hours visit so dated for Sunday. Only dribs and drabs in by this time - persistent rain outside deterring, perhaps, latecomers. Jubilee beer festival gravity dispense 6 casks all now for sale (1 had not quite settled still) and 5 on handpump.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Tiny Rebel - Urban IPA5.50ExcellentNew brewery for me. Smooth taste easy drinking
By The Horns - Prince Albert Munich Dunkel5.50ExcellentAs expected a dark brew. Taste grew on me as pint went down
Arbor Ales - Yakima Valley7.00AcceptableMy only beer from the festival gravity dispense stillage. The in your face hoppiness needed the beer to be cooler than it was so did not enjoy this

Late evening visit and across the border of midnight. Unfortunately and disappointingly only one handpump in use as pub is clearing the decks for a beer festival with Jubilee theme on the morrow when all 5 handpumps and an array of 6 gravity dispense firkins will abound and tempt.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Pitfield's - Hewitt's Un-hung Hero5.00GoodDid not keep its head - rather flat and condition not as good as could be. Other handpumps had until recently dispensed Thornbridge Jaipur and Sharp's Doom Bar

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6NR.

Formerly The Coach & Horses and recently re-opened as part of the "Antic Collective". A large pub in Lewisham High Street, just south of the Ladywell baths complex and H.E. Olby's Plumbing Centre. One very large bar area with lots of floor space. One feature of the newly re-opened house is an array of 5 handpumps and the introduction of a gamut of guest beers from London and more widespread and the sale of a hand pumped cider. A welcome addition to the Lewisham real ale scene. Has a bar billiards table in use and a table football table. Regular live bands play and a small dancing area is provided. Antic closed the pub on 30th October 2016 in "preparation" for its opening of a currently closed pub in the Lewisham market area.

We have visited this pub 183 times, seen 307 different beers and tried 184 of them.
