2145 and all is quiet. Ace cellarman Jocky was on top form as usual and so was the solitary ale that I imbibed tonite!

Ossett - Yorkshire Blonde3.90ExcellentA recent guest ale, still on and very refreshing and tasted pretty good too. Strangely, much better than last week!

My first visit since 31st July if I believe this outlet? The Ossett, sampled by Pedro here, caught my attention for this rare Monday evening visit. The ale I sampled was mediocre, not that refreshing at all, very thin. But, the Copper Ale was something else and I soon devoured 3 pints of this excellant ale.

I was pleasantly surprised to find two guest beers on offer, plus a third one ready to go on. I had a good chat with the landlady about Marmite and O.K. Sauce. I had a couple of pints, and left with a bottle of O.K. Sauce with the compliments of the landlady.
