Very impressive ale house with friendly staff and customers. Not all beers noted.
BeerABVScoreNotes
York (now brewed by and at Black Sheep) - Motueka4.00ExcellentLight golden ale using Motueka hops. Satisfying almost light herbal flavours with good tropical fruits. Solid malts and dry finish.
Acorn - Special Pale Ale5.70GoodBrewed with Bobek hops this was almost a light winter warmer. Plenty of malt body and warmth from the alcohol with a little hopping for interest.

WharfeBank - Black Tom4.40ExcellentHaving had an undrinkable sample of this at Dewsbury Beer Fest, I was interested to see what this was like in a pub. I was not disappointed, an excellent black strong mild with a sweet caramelly flavour and a low hop rate. Fruity, slightly vineous finish. My score 16/20.
