Thwaites - Nutty Black3.30ExcellentServed on gravity from the stillage, excellent condition, low hopping and sweetish chocolatey malt and biscuit flavours make this a very good dark mild. My score 16/20.

Hydes - 1863 Classic Bitter3.50GoodFormerley known as Light Mild, this is a lightly hopped amber ale with a sweetish biscuity malt character. My score 15/20.

The pub is found in Battersea, Greater London, SW11 1RU.

Located right by the main entrance of Clapham Junction railway station. Large Victorian corner pub that is on CAMRA's National Inventory of historic pub interiors. Dark wood interior with a mixture of many rooms and wooden partitions. Up to 15 Real Ales served here including many off the M&B guest list. A total of 22 handpumps exists in banks of 6, 6 and 10. Local brews also feature such as Sambrook's. Refurbishment in early 2014 changed little. Reputedly the longest bar counter in the UK at 125 feet measured round its outer perimeter.
