Coincidentally ChrisE was here yesterday - the Pubs and Beers reviewer formerly known as Whinger. I have only recently discovered this part of Stoke-on-Trent (Stoke Town) and its range of pubs and beer choice.

Hotfoot from the Stoke beer festival and two hours to "kill" before the 1813 train south. A festival was also on here with a stillage of 12 more common type ales. Full Titanic range plus some guests on the main bar though. This current gbg, round the corner from the JD's and the Kings Hall, is excellent and I'd recommend a visit when in this area. The Titanics new ales were at the Stoke fest but, strangely, not here. (I did not note the 12 festival ales on, as rather "normal" types!).
