Evening visit, we played some good oldies on the CD juke box, unfortunately the vinyl one is still out of order.

Early Sunday lunchtime - different - vinyl record sale ongoing in the front bar - quirky - I like it.

Early evening visit, and they were getting ready for bands playing later on. Regrettably the juke box appears to be out of order, a shame as it is a superb example of one of the bigger Rock Ola machines with some great vinyl on it. I hope they find someone suitable qualified to repair it at a sensible price.

Evening. Lively conversational barman and good to see 2 Kentish ales. Miffed that I was not prompted for the CAMRA discount, a lost customer focus opportunity in a tourist City with many casual customers.

Afternoon visit on my way back from the Canterbury Food & Drink Festival. The girl behind the bar was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about beer.

John said they had a killer jukebox in here and he was dead right. The first album on it was the Best of ACDC. Rock n Roll. Free wifi too! Used to come here a lot 20 years ago when it was the Three Compasses. Other than the beer line-up (which used to include Fremlins), the colour of the walls (now red) and the lack of seating (although I've a feeling the Three Compasses didn't have much seating either) it was much the same. Not sure I think much of the new pub name though.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Sharp's - Doom Bar4.00GoodHad to have 2 pints of this whilst we waited for our music to come on the jukebox.
