Large pub slightly set back from the street in the heart of Blackheath Village in Tranquil Vale. Once a Courage house then with the John Barras Pub Company and latterly with Shepherd Neame. Extra seating upstairs. Has a function room for hire. Large front yard for outdoor drinking. Semi-circular bar counter with 5 handpumps. Re-opened late February 2024 after a makeover.

We have visited this pub 21 times, seen 12 different beers and tried 9 of them.
