A large freehouse in Addington Street, close to the Theatre Royal, it was originally called the Shakespeare Tavern, London Tavern and Everybody's Inn, it has now reverted to the name that was in use from the mid 19th century to the late 20th century. 5 handpumps including 1 for cider. Thanet CAMRA branch 2017 Pub of the Year. Temporarily closed, expected to reopen under new ownership around 28 January 2021. Opened early 2022 then closed again 25th September 2022.
