Its huge. Its great. It has more staff than i have ever seen in a Wetherspoons. They patrol their areas ready to spring on the mere hint of an empty plate. Impressive

Afternoon visit on a very cold day with the occasional light snow flurry so we did not expect this place to be busy, in fact it was doing quite well although I think absolutely no-one was using the outside seating areas. The food trade appeared to be doing quite well. I have not listed all the beers that were available but the usual suspects were there together with some guests and the Christmas Ales were starting to make an appearance.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Elgood's - North Brink Porter5.00ExcellentSuperb dark and creamy porter.

10 guests on, but some of them have been on for over a week. Decided to check on them and I was a bit disappointed. The crowds that were here in the first month have disappeared as the weather got colder.

Lunchtime visit on a sunny November day, the pub was busy but well staffed so service was quick and friendly. I met up with some friends and we sat outside on the veranda and enjoyed some nice weather and sea views. I listened to some conspiracy theories regarding a recent article about this place in The Times. I was very pleased to hear that the manager of this pub has a policy that any beer listed as Available Soon must be on sale within one hour although, apparently, there have been some busy Friday evenings when this target has not been achieved.

Monday afternoon with good weather, this pub was quite busy but adequately staffed with no waiting at the bar. All eighteen hand pumps were in use with twelve different beers downstairs and six beers upstairs of which a few were also available on the ground floor. Two of the members of staff that I spoke to were ecstatic about the Banana Bread Beer from Charles Wells.
