Lovely hazy ipa. There was a 5% Italian chocolate porter on but I can't seem to put it on.

Ordering alot of lowish strength local beers here. Unlike the Elephant in Margit which has been putting on an amazing selection at £1.99 recently.

Ice cold beer, flat and lacking condition. Rumour this place is closing for a refurbishment later this month. Needs a reset considering its the world's biggest spoons.
This building opened as a Wetherspoon's on Tuesday 29 August 2017 and is probably the largest Wetherspoon's in the country. It was designed as a dance hall by architect Stanley Davenport Adshead in 1903 and in later years operated as a casino. On two levels with a bar with 12 handpumps at ground level and another on the 1st floor balcony with 6 handpumps. Open-to-view kitchen on the ground floor. There is a ground floor rear patio and an upstairs outside covered decking area for fair weather drinking and sea and sand views. Re-opened Saturday 7th December 2024 after a 3 week closure refurbishment.
We have visited this pub 202 times, seen 181 different beers and tried 151 of them.
