Evening visit until midnight close and no rush to leave. Intention for brief visit was ditched after meeting some local CAMRA branch types with much news to catch up on.

Big Penny (formerly Truman's) as of late 2022 contract brewed - Waterloo Sunset4.20ExcellentOdd name for an allegedly Belgian style beer until pointed out later by several contributors to this site that Waterloo is in Belgium too (doh). Very good clean tasting though. Mine was last out of cask
Greene King - Abbot5.00Not TriedRan out as I ordered

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub in Lewisham High Street that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during its long day, attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 542 times, seen 831 different beers and tried 362 of them.
