23 Dec 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit. Always very friendly and it seemed as if everyone already had completed their pre-Christmas chores except me.
Robinsons - Tom & berry | 4.60 | | 2 goes - with and without sparkler. Without seemed to bring out the fruit tones better |
Ilkley - Project Venus - Venus Voyage | 6.00 | | Scrumptious. Described as Trans-Atlantic Union India Pale Ale. The strength soon left a numbness in the forehead |
Tring - Tringle Bells | 4.20 | | Brewed to offend no one - very drinkable |
22 Oct 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit. A cribbage night in full swing. Warm welcome as always. The current guvs have been here for 2 years - thought it had been much longer!
Oldershaw - Mellowdaze | 4.50 | | The Oldershaw stable is full of golden ale horses. This one was a mid brown malty (well balanced with hops) brew |

Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | Not Tried
Glentworth - Autumn Gem | 4.20 | Not Tried
26 Aug 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
Mid evening visit. Chance to meet my Seniors and betters! Both rooms in full use.

Mallinsons - F.A.D. 3 | 4.10 | | Light with a citrus bitter nose. Brewed to celebrate this year's August Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival

I really liked this pub. There was a good range of beers, it was clean and comfortable, a thoroughly good boozer.
