I hadn't really been around The Bayle area of Folkestone before and I was impressed. Nice cobbles and small cottage houses. Two good pubs as well. I liked this one bar traditional pub with a dart board and pool table and TV on the left and quieter seating to the right in front of the real fire. I received a friendly welcome and a chalk board above the beer displayed beers coming on soon and showed a good mix of UK regionals and micros. The teapots in the shape of houses were quirky. 4 handpumps, but I can only remember 2. I think one was Greene King IPA and the other a winter seasonal, but I couldn't swear to it.

Adnams - Broadside4.70AcceptableA bit yeastier than I remember it being and the malty fruit was more subdued. Still, a decent pint.
