Possibly my favourite pub in the world. Very unpretentious, with a good mix of regulars and 'beer tourists'. Top notch selection of beers, just brilliant really.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - McConnel's5.00ExcellentRich stout with a nice hint of vanilla. Really good.
Saltaire - Raspberry Blonde4.00AcceptableNice enough, kind of like a blonde beer with a bit of raspberry cordial dropped in.

Salamander - Mt Sinai4.20AcceptableHint of aromatic hop in this, could be Sorachi. My score 14/20.

After having one too many golden ales at the Harlequin a few of us came here on the way to The Wellington. Corner pub with central bar. Lovely feel to it. Wood, clocks and beer memorabilia. Oh and the best "back dimples" I've ever seen. Here with Mes, Simon and Jacob. One of the pubs I''d definitely come back to.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Craven Silk4.00ExcellentOn a week where I drank as much Thornbridge Hall beer as I could, this was another delight. Better than when I had it in Huddersfield. Really pure elderflower that was sharp and aggressive, but still so drinkable.
Marble - Stouter Stout4.70GoodSolid stout from one of the UK's best breweries.
Spire - Guards Heavy3.70AcceptableClear chestnut, lasting cream head. Some roast. OK bitter.

Fulstow (Fugelestou Ales) - Black Rose3.80AcceptableDark bitter with a slightly unbalanced bitter taste bordering on phenolic. My score 13/20.
