So happy to finally be back. This is truly one of my favourite pubs I've ever been in. We grabbed our beers then sat in their wonderful beer garden and had dinner. Had to venture inside after a while, we weren't quite as hardened to the cold as the locals were.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Old Bear - Black Maria4.20ExcellentLoads of roasted malt and chocolate in this fantastic stout.
Milestone - Somers5.50PoorThis beer is verging on terrible. Overly sweet and cloying, not very wheaty at all. Just a mess really.

I had high hoped for this place and it did not disappoint. Fantastic range of ales, I can only remember about half of them. Friendly staff and locals, and the food was outstanding. It was so good here I came back later for a meal with my family.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Titanic - Nautical Mild4.80ExcellentThis was gorgeous, I was tempted to give it 5 stars. Strong dark mild, tastes more like an old ale I think. Bags of chocolate and roasted malt with a little tartness. Lovely.
Slater's - Voortrekker Laager5.00GoodI think this is supposed to be a cask conditioned lager. It was nice anyway, refreshing with a nice zingy citrus flavour to it.
Spire - Brassy Cow4.20AcceptableWasn't overly keen on this one. Malty with a bitter aftertaste. Alright but nothing special.
