Several festival beers available, with £2.10 on the handpumps. However when I ordered a pint, I was charged £2.30. When I asked why I wasnt charged £2.10, the barmaid said 'I dont know why, I only started working here yesterday.' More staff training needed.

2300 and some noticeable ale changes. I've done well again with this current JD festival, having found all bar one of the 50 ales from one or both of the Maidstone JD's. The elusive ale that did not appear here, or I might just have missed, was the Cains Voyager.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Bath Ales - Ginger Hare3.90ExceptionalJust had to give it a 5*. An explosion of ginger spice, very lingering aftertaste. Just possibly even better than the famous Marble Ginger. Two pints devoured.
Adnams - Ghost Ship4.50ExcellentWent down well this one.
RCH - Strawberry Line5.00ExcellentThis is another one with an over-the-top abundance of fruit poured in. Slightly too pronounced for my taste and an unusually high and quite noticeable abv at 5% which earned it a 4* i.m.o.
