Evening until midnight close. Wanted to try a bottle conditioned Redemption.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Stonehenge - Danish Dynamite5.00Good
Redemption - Big Chief (bottle conditioned)5.50AcceptableQuite mediocre, poured flat with the only life being from a shaken up decant of the bottle lees. Not sure why small breweries bother to bottle-condition when it is usually only successful when a highly skilled operator performs the act with a high degreee of quality control

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub in Lewisham High Street that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during its long day, attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 539 times, seen 821 different beers and tried 360 of them.
