Out of my hermitage for an after midnight early morning visit until close. Thistly Cross's cider was once again the siren calling to the rocks.

28 Dec 2015 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening until close. A crowd in who say they are boycotting the nearby London & Rye 'Spoon's as they abhor its recently revised seating layout. Beer range here a bore so had a Thistly Cross "whisky cask" cider instead.

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub in Lewisham High Street that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during its long day, attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 542 times, seen 831 different beers and tried 362 of them.
