Evening. I am starting to find Wetherspoon's real ale supply policy boring. In a time of increasing localism it is missing a trick with, say in London, so many micro-breweries that could supply its houses. One look at the clips and I eschewed the whole caboodle, plumping for a Westons Old Rosie Cloudy Cider with Rhubarb at 4%, albeit with its rather medical potion taste.

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub in Lewisham High Street that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during its long day, attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 542 times, seen 831 different beers and tried 362 of them.
