3 beers on with 6 of us plus a dog in the bar. Had a discussion with nicola about acceptable heads on beer and for a German she agreed with me that without the giant glasses, heads should be kept to a minimum.

Stop 3 - about 2 pm.
Pleasant ambience, varied selection of ales on and the landlady was happy to suggest a short cut to our next stop, The Ravensgate Arms. Interesting artwork on the walls, most for sale.

Late afternoon not too busy but we were kept waiting longer than necessary thanks to one selfish inconsiderate ignorant customer who continued to make small talk with the barmaid long after being served.
