22:15 visit. (I am NOT the/a Rabbi!). On-me-pushbike again tonite, so, a rare, late Thursday visit! The local branch members have descended upon the pub in force, afterall, it is THE best Real Ale pub in Town! Busy enough and stayed until nearly mid-night...but I only noted the ales that I imbibed!

A great day and evening for the pub. Left after 1am. What a selection of beers. The Pot was more successful today than on a beer festival day. And who would believe it. Fellow scribes Phillip Pirip, Chris Whinger Excel, Pedro and Dosser were all there today. Kentish Al was too lazy to come out preparing for a West sussex bus trip around West Sussex pubs later today, but it didnt stop Dosser and Pedro. All we needed was Oz 11, Martin the Mildman and the mysterious Eddie who all the fellow scribes wanted to know who is he? 9 beers available but I forgot to note them all, but there were enough scribes there that will put them down for me!

Our monthly Friday night crew met up here as its "South" venue and as usual I was the last to arrive. As Angie has said there was a coincidental meet up of Pubs and Beer correspondents. In fact in addition to the names Angie has given there were also two lapsed contributors (Jason and Old Bill Barley - well at least Old Bill Barley's son Ben) there too. The pub was packed and a varied range of beers was moving fast. All these Bills and Bens - only Weed was truly missing in spirit!
