Second pub in our Lewisham tour. I thought this was cramped for a JD's house and the guest beers seemed to run out quickly and not get replaced but other than that it was fine.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Salopian - Hop Twister4.50ExcellentPale gold. Apple and bread yeast flavours with subtle grapefruit hops. Reminded me a bit of Harvey's Sussex Best
Wychwood (now brewed at Banks's) - Dog's Bollocks (aka Mutt's Nuts)5.20GoodPale amber beer with thin white head. Thin flavour of weak malt and apple-like hops.

The pub is found in Lewisham, Greater London, SE13 6JP.

A busy pub in Lewisham High Street that's small by Wetherspoon's standards. Bookshelves around internal pillars make views across the floor difficult. A bit like a chameleon it changes clientele during its long day, attracting market folk whilst the street market is open then a mixed group of faces later on. Here staff do get to know their customers. Sports 2 banks each of 6 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 537 times, seen 814 different beers and tried 359 of them.
