Afternoon visit, began to get fairly busy, beers are served from hand pump which is a change from the other micro pubs and all the ales looked very appetising with nice heads. The barmen was very freindly and was informing us that they were in need of bric a brac for the walls etc... We also get to chat to the young brewer from The Canterbury Ales brewery. A nice afternoon😊

Evening. Unplanned serendipitous meet with my Thursday crawl companion. Pub quite clearly a work in progress. Needs some soft furnishings and / or wall adornments to cut down the noise echo.

The pub is found in Faversham, Kent, ME13 8NS.

Faversham's first Micropub, at the Market Place end of Preston Street, which opened on 18th December 2014 having previously been open for a short while as a pop-up during the town's Hop Festival in the autumn. Shop conversion from a wet fish shop. Small oblong room, sparsely decorated, with large central skylight. High wall mounted benches provide the seating at high tables. Small bar counter in the far left hand corner is equipped with 6 wall mounted handpumps and 1 on the counter top for the real ale and cider dispense. Unisex toilet at the back. Lost the apostrophe in its name with recent new signage!
