Early evening and quite busy mostly with wet sales but there were a few diners. We took advantage of the fact that the new bus timetable which started today gives us an extra hour and a bit for evening drinking in this pub.

In need of a quick bite to eat at lunchtime we went in to find a fairly busy situation. The snack was fine as was the service.

Tuesday afternoon and fairly quiet. This was the first time that I have seen four cask ales on sale here, but the mild seems to have gone.

Mid afternoon and quiet. I was pleased to complete a loyalty card and get a free pint.
Banks's - Mild | 3.50 | | The beer ran out as it was being poured, but the barmaid said she would check the next cask and put it on if it was ready. She connected it, checked the smell and clarity, then tasted it. She warned us that it was a bit fresh, it was quite good really and I had a couple of pints of it. |
