Last knockings visit until 11pm close. The landlady and I agreed that the taste of Oakham Citra has changed to be far too rounded, losing its clean Citra edge (change of hop supplier or recipe?).
BeerABVScoreNotes
Siren Craft - Broken Dream Breakfast Stout6.50GoodCould have been cooler, perhaps first out for a while. Full bodied delight as always though

Latish evening visit, A gem of a place for both cask and keg beer lovers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Beerkeepers5.30ExceptionalEverything just right, temperature, taste balance, the lot. A superb beer in peak condition
Tiny Rebel - Cherry Bomb5.00GoodA cherry sour that could easily strip the tongue. Would have been better to have been cooler (suspect first out for a while). I chased it with the Beerkeepers as intriguing opposites

Mid evening and fairly quiet. My last pub today on the recommendation of P&B luminary Phillip Pirrip I can see why at £1.50 a half.

A very impressive pub, where 50 or 60 Leyton Orient supporters had gathered ahead of tonight’s match at Bromley FC. Many of my real ale drinking friends were marvelling at the interesting range of keg and key-keg beers and as a group we spent way too much money on them when we should have focussed on the £3 a pint cask beers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Marble - Table Beer2.70ExcellentAnother very good low-strength beer – I’m really getting a taste for them. The only fault here was over-chilling.
Five Points - Agadoo6.50ExcellentThe second of the two London Beer City special brews – this one representing north London and brewed collaboratively with Pressure Drop and One Mile End.
Westbrook - Key Lime Pie Gose4.00AcceptableFrom a keg. Lime flavour way over the top to the point that this was barely recognisable as beer.
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's)3.40Not Tried

Evening visit until 11pm close. Had heard very good things about this place and they were all true. Really knowledgeable manager and all real ales fixed at £3 a pint. Running to the same ethos as Stormbird in Camberwell.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Marble - Pint (was 3.9%)3.40GoodFull of flavour but honestly too chilled
