This was a clever take on mdern IPAs and it succeeded. Great pallette of malts offset by judicious new world hopping to frame to the Earl Grey flavours. Subtle and moreish.

Smooth and full bodied dark amber beer with great depth of flavour. Good showcase for what can still be done with Fuggles and Goldings.
Adnams - Stone Brewing Supremely Self-Conscious Black Ale

Lacking the hop slam I was hoping for - end of cask.

Greene King - The Abbot's Confession

Surprised myself but this deserves 4*. Brave to produce a strong beer but the alcohol was shielded by solid malts and enough hopping to demand a second. Well done Spoons and GK.
The pub is found in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, AB11 6DA.
Part of the Wetherspoon group, The Justice Mill is on the Aberdeen pub and club circuit. Expect it to get lively and noisy as the evening progresses. Luckily, it has friendly staff with one or two who know about real ale.
We have visited this pub 19 times, seen 32 different beers and tried 20 of them.
