Very blokey - noisy and vibrant. Two good ales on.

Just one beer on which I'd already had on my tour round so I moved swiftly on. Pub seemed OK though if a little quiet.

First time I've been here, I didn't even know it existed. Nice place to stop by for a few games of pool. Not many others in but that was fine with us.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hopdaemon - Incubus4.00ExcellentIn terrific condition. Rich and malty, when in top condition this beer is hard to beat.

Given the people who own this also own the Bell & Crown and the Two Doves, both of which do Kent Micros, it was a fair bet that the Carpenter's would too. ...and it did. It's years since I was last here; it was on a tour with Ian as I recall. The inside of the pub is really a single space with some seating around one wall and a large TV - which was showing Sky Cricket with Gower, Beefy and some bloke I didn't recognise. There were a handful of people in.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hopdaemon - Incubus4.00AcceptableBit sharp to be honest and a bit off form but you could still get hints of strawberry and melon if you looked for them.
