I had read Andrew's report on this site and that prompted me to visit this pub that I had not been to for years. Thanks Andrew, I liked it.

2nd pub of my random bus tour. It was dark outside and I had no idea where the bus stop was but lots of people on the bus made sure I got off at the right place. Big old school sort of town boozer. Handful of people in.
G2 - Crux | 4.80 | | Golden peppery bitter |
Hop Fuzz - The English | 4.00 | Not Tried | |

I was here for a colleague's leaving England do. They do a barbecue and you give them some money up front and they provide the food and someone to cook it. Very civilised. I only stayed for two pints.
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | | Only beer on. The first pint wasn't all that, but the second had the beer's trademark hoppy bite. |

I came down here with some work colleagues to watch the England vs Trinidad and Tobago game at the 2006 World Cup. Good atmosphere. Several TVs were showing pictures. Lots of people in England shirts. The staff were good too. There were sausage rolls and chicken drumsticks at half time and a sweepstake on the final score. Good fun. Garden is nice in the summer too. Only one handpump.
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | | I can't remember the last time I did a session on this (well 4 pints). It was fine. Enough caramel and hops to keep you interested and it just slipped down easily. Could have drunk lots of this over the course of an evening. |

Large Victorian corner pub with nice garden and manicured lawn. One handpump only, normally London Pride.
Black Sheep - Special Ale (previously Ale) | 4.40 | | Copper coloured with cream coloured head. Resiny hops and good biscuity malt leads to a very bitter hop finish. Very nice indeed, could have had a couple of these |

Largish corner victorian pub near the sea. Central bar with a raised seating section. Garden for the summer. Only London Pride on when I visited
